  We visited just for the afternoon / early evening. First we rented a pedal boat at Kiche Manitou lake for an hour. It was good though I wish we rented canoes instead (faster). Note that the pedal boat can't take much weight (400 lbs I think). After, we went on the Spirit Sands hike. The hike shouldn't be a problem for most adults. We had several kids, ranging from 5 to 8 years old, with us though. So we were quite nervous with the steeper sections (sand paths, with or without ladders). In the end, the kids handled it well. I wish we had more time to hang around the dunes. So either arrive in the morning, or better yet, stay for multiple days.

  Beautiful landscapes, plenty to do with the whole family and friends, wonderful campsite, and TONS of trails. The fishing is great too! You could never get bored here. I look forward to spend many more nights under the stars at Spruce Woods Provincial Park.

  Great camping. Try to get the overflow sites if you are tenting. Bigger sites and more privacy. Nice beach and fantastic hiking in the dunes (bring water). Careful for the poison ivy.
